PRN / Per Diem (As-Needed) Job Summary Davidson Homecare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN position to support our non-medical home care clients in Davidson County, NC. This role is ideal for retired nurses or RNs seeking flexible, supplemental work. The RN will be responsible for client assessments, care plan oversight, and supervision of home care aides, ensuring compliance with North Carolina home care licensure standards (10A

Key Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments in the home setting Develop, review, and update individualized plans of care in accordance with NC DHSR regulations Provide clinical oversight and supervision of in-home aides/caregivers Conduct supervisory visits per state-mandated frequency requirements Communicate with clients, families, and physicians regarding care needs and changes in condition Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with agency and state requirements Provide training and competency evaluations for non-medical care staff as needed Respond to client or family concerns regarding care quality Ensure all care delivery aligns with North Carolina home care agency licensing standards Qualifications Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (home health, hospice, geriatrics, or med-surg preferred) Retired RNs with active/reinstated licensure and "newly licensed" are welcome and encouraged to apply Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within Davidson County Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, on-call schedule CPR certification (current) Must pass background check per NC DHSR requirements Schedule PRN/As-needed basis Flexible hours based on client care needs and nurse availability About Davidson Homecare Davidson Homecare is a non-medical home care agency based in Davidson County, North Carolina, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate in-home support to seniors and individuals needing assistance with daily living.
