Registered Nurse Trainer Portsmouth, NH 03801 Hybrid work $45 an hour - Part-time $45 an hour - Part-time Nurse Trainer (R.N.)

(based on experience & certifications) Are you a compassionate RN looking to make a meaningful impact in a non-clinical setting? Join our dedicated team at a residential facility and day program supporting adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As our Registered Nurse Trainer , you'll provide clinical oversight, train direct support staff, and help individuals lead safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives.What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary health coordinator for adults with ASD in a residential and day program setting.
- Train and certify staff in medication administration per He-M 1201 regulations.
- Provide hands-on training in health protocols (seizures, first aid, PRN meds, etc.).
- Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, and care teams.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with NH healthcare regulations.
- Provide on-call medical guidance (phone only—no overnight or hospital shifts!
What We're Looking For:
- Current RN license in New Hampshire (required).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience —home health, education, or developmental services preferred.
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder strongly preferred (training provided).
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass required background checks.
