• Utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to critically ill surgical patients/families who experience a wide variety of complex, multi-system health problems and to participate in health activities.

4C Adult Cardio-Thoracic Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed adult telemetry step-down unit specializing in the delivery of care to post-operative patients who have undergone cardio-thoracic surgeries such as heart valve replacements/repairs, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) implants, heart and lung transplants, various lung surgeries and esophageal surgeries. Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure to practice nursing in the state of Michigan.

One (1) year of Telemetry RN experience In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

Telemetry experience Recent ICU/ICU step-down experience. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving, leadership and effective delegation skills.
