May 31, 2026 Position Summary A registered nurse or LPN working for Benzie Senior Resources provides in-home medical services to older adults in Benzie County, and as needed on behalf of BSR in assisted living facilities and on-site at Benzie Senior Resources.
Responsibilities of this role include client assessment, medication management, basic medical care (blood pressure and glucose monitoring, wound care, foot care, evaluation and documentation) all while upholding the Benzie Senior Resources values of Relationship/Teamwork, Trustworthiness/Integrity, and Respect/Dignity. Key Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect medical services as directed by the Home Health Services Director
Initial client assessment and documentation
Uses mobile device for check-in and visit documentation (provided by BSR)
Maintains confidentiality of client clinical records
Builds and maintains relationships with referral sources, local medical personnel, clients and their families
Demonstrates safe workplace behaviors at all times regarding proper lifting techniques, blood borne pathogens and elder issues
Remains current with licensure, required CEU's, and re-certifications
Participates in outreach footcare clinics
Other duties as assigned Work Schedule
This position enjoys a flexible schedule. Appointments with in-home clients are generally made between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., M-F. Appointments may be made outside those hours if another time is agreed upon with the client.
Work completed in assisted living facilities or at the BSR location is completed during their business hours.
