Job Description
Fall General Surgery is a specialty vein and general surgery practice serving patients in WI and MN for over 25 years. We are looking for a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse to join our team. This individual will perform various office and clinical duties to keep our clinic practice running efficiently. Hours of operation; M-Th 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and every other Friday, no evenings or weekends.
Note:
this position is considered full time at 32 hours / week, with the ability to work at both Fall General Surgery office and cover occasionally an offsite location. Duties include but are not limited to: Reviews charts to ensure information is complete, accurate and filed appropriately. Scanning and indexing all pertinent info into E.H.R. patient chart needed for upcoming patient appointment. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients or set up for patient procedures. Rooms patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information in patients' record. Assisting physician(s) with various procedures and patient exams; charting, relaying instructions to patients and families; answering calls and providing pertinent information. Varicose vein training and implementation Accompany Dr. Fall to Duluth when necessary for vein procedures and visits Hands instruments and materials to provider as directed. Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials. Monitor and co-ordinate maintenance of equipment operation and inventory Enters data into computer, scanning and patient chart preparation in EHR to maintain office and patient records. Calls medical facility or department to schedule patients for tests or procedures. Arranges for hospital procedures and outside provider referrals as needed. Schedules appointments, maintains electronic medical records.Requirements:
•Active RN license in the state of WI required. Associate degree, bachelor degree or diploma from an approved nursing program Ability to provide exceptional customer service. Experience working in a clinical setting. Experience using an Electronic Medical/Health Record program. Ability to pass a Wisconsin Healthcare background check. CPR, BLS, or ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.BENEFITS
