• Jackson, MI Shift Hours:

• 7pm
• 7am 3x12s, weekend and holiday availability required

Schedule Notes:

• 13 week contract

REQUIRED

Minimum 2 years previous ICU experience, ACLS and BLS certification from AHA

• Preferred
• Previous experience in a trauma level 2 facility
• OT Billed after 48 hours

Job Summary:

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
• Minimum 2 years previous ICU experience

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a trauma level 2 facility

Required Education:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

Required Certification & Licensure:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• BLS
• ACLS and BLS certification from AHA Languages
