Scheduling & Logistics:
The position is hybrid, requiring candidates to reside within 30 to 60 minutes of the main office in Saint Louis, Missouri. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with additional hours as needed.

  • Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develops, implements and evaluates practices and policies. + Collects and assesses data to identify potential or actual sources of risk to patients and employees. + Collaborates with staff, medical staff, leadership, quality and other committee members with respect to risk-related incidents, policies and practices. + Develops or facilitates safety, risk and quality care initiatives. + Manages activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. + Complies with codes, laws, rules and regulations concerning patient care, including those mandated by state and federal agencies. + Manages investigation of incidents by collecting information necessary to prepare for the defense of claims, interacting with legal counsel, insurance carrier, and patients/families to effect timely settlement. + Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. + Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
+ Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
EXPERIENCE
+ Five years' experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. + Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. + Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. + Frequent keyboard use/data entry. + Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. + Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. + Rare climbing.
