The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs.
This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
Essential Job Functions:
(1) the ability to work at Client s assigned work location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement, (2) the ability to work the substantial time of the assigned shift, (3) the ability to take call, (4) the ability to work assigned weekends, and (5) the ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.

Effective 4/8/26, following the completion of an assignment, a mandatory six (6) month break will be required before returning to MU Health Care in an agency capacity. This applies 13 week contracts, and extensions (up to two 13 week extensions allowed per contract/ 9 months of consecutive service). Locals are not accepted within 50 miles of the facility. RRT and Pharmacy Techs must have license in hand. Cerner experience preferred. Must work 50% of holidays during contract.
