Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract A certified School Nurse (CSN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a contract position through the remainder of the school year, concluding June 17. This role is based at a secondary school campus in Warren, Rhode Island, providing a dynamic setting to support student health and wellness.

Responsibilities include:

Managing a dedicated health room and operating an individual nurse's office. Assessing and caring for students presenting with illness or injury during the school day. Administering medications as required, in compliance with school policies and healthcare regulations. Communicating effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintaining accurate health records and monitoring student health trends within the school.

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure, with certification as a School Nurse (CSN) highly preferred. Experience working in school health settings or comparable environments. Strong assessment skills and the ability to manage acute health concerns in pediatric populations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and support student privacy. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
