Bradley Hospital in East Providence, RI, is actively hiring a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN/CNS) for the Psychiatric department. In this role, you will apply advanced knowledge and clinical skills in psychiatric diagnoses and treatment, practicing as an interdependent member of the health care team and collaborating with other health professionals to provide mental health care to children and their families. The annual pay range for this position is $127,504.00

Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose and treat individuals with acute and chronic psychiatric illnesses or emotional and behavioral disturbances Provide clinical evaluation of patients in seclusion/restraints and coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary services for clients with complex psychiatric problems Provide clinical supervision, consultation, emergency evaluations and crisis interventions and deliver psychopharmacologic management in collaboration with a psychiatrist Conduct individual, group and family therapy sessions, promoting wellness-oriented care with a focus on disease and disability prevention Support children/adolescents and their families around issues of developmental milestones, or life changes and/or catastrophic events and provide comprehensive psychiatric/mental health education
Qualifications:
Current RI RN license and ANCC certification required MSN with specialization in child psychiatry; prescriptive authority with current DEA 3-5 years of clinical experience working with children/adolescents with psychiatric mental health issues Candidates must emulate our C.A.R.E.
