Job Description

Overview Join the Lakeside clinical team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse medical settings! In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing services, coordinate patient assessments, administer treatments, and support recovery and wellness. Your energy and dedication will help ensure exceptional care delivery in fast-paced environments, from acute care units to outpatient clinics. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine individual care needs. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform procedures such as suturing and catheterization with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans aligned with patient goals and medical protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately using the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, post-discharge instructions, and chronic disease management including geriatrics and dementia care. Support triage activities in urgent care or emergency room settings by prioritizing patient needs based on severity of condition. Requirements Valid nursing license (RN) in good standing with relevant state licensing boards. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities; experience in geriatrics or memory care is a plus. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration; physical ability to perform duties including lifting Hoyer lifts or assisting with ambulation as needed. $44.00 - $50.00 per hour
