Position Summary:

Roberts Health Centre, a skilled nursing and long-term care facility, is seeking an experienced Weekend Nursing Supervisor, from 7am to 7 PM Saturday and Sunday, to oversee clinical operations and building management. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting staff, and managing admissions and care coordination—particularly for residents under managed care plans such as BCBC and UHC.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise overall facility operations during weekend shifts in a long-term care environment. Act as the clinical leader for nursing staff across two units. Oversee and collaborate with local hospitals for any new admissions and readmissions using the referral system , ensuring smooth transitions and accurate documentation. Coordinate and manage care plan issues and changes in condition. Handle BCBS and managed care communication , including authorizations and any updates including issuance of NOMNC;s. Ensure compliance with CMS, RIDOH, and facility policies and procedures Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner Monitor staffing, call-outs, and assignments to maintain safe coverage

Qualifications:

Current RN license in Rhode Island Minimum 2 years of long-term care experience required Prior supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred Experience with managed care (BCBS) and skilled admissions highly desirable Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills Apply Today! Pay:

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
