Job Description

Brown University Health, affiliated partner of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, has an opening for a hospitalist to work in our award winning Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) at Rhode Island Hospital and the ICU at The Miriam Hospital, both located in downtown Providence. This position requires a commitment to working both days & nights (an exclusively day schedule is not available) and is ideal for a candidate interested in learning procedures or considering a pulmonary-critical care fellowship in the future.
About the job:
Opportunity to care for critically ill patients with pulmonary hypertension, DKA, and acute and chronic respiratory failure EMR is EPIC 15 shifts per month/8-day shifts, 7 nights RICU shifts are non-teaching, TMH ICU night shifts involve teaching and supervising Brown residents Option to learn procedures 18 bed closed units Opportunities for research and Brown academic appointment if desired Additional moonlighting opportunities available Research opportunities available J1 and H1B visa friendly About the benefits: Compensation is $252,350-$262,350 depending on experience PSLF eligible Malpractice with tail coverage 401K with a 6% match About us The Brown University Health Intensive Care Units are nationally recognized for superior critical care services and is a multi-year recipient of the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, a prestigious award for critical care nursing.
