Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting student wellness in an educational setting this summer. We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide expert care and ensure a safe, healthy environment for students and staff. This contract position offers a balanced schedule—work 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, between July 7th and August 7th.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current RN licensure Previous experience in a school setting, or demonstrated ability in pediatric or community nursing Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff Capacity to respond calmly and professionally to emergencies CPR and First Aid certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver routine and emergency health services to students, including medication administration and minor injury care Implement health care plans for students with chronic conditions Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school policies Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and community healthcare providers Promote healthy habits and provide education on health-related topics Monitor compliance with state immunization and health requirements This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to create a positive impact while enjoying a consistent daytime schedule, freeing up afternoons and evenings.
