1 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a MedSurg/Telemetry/PCU Float position. This role requires a strong clinical background in cardiac care and the ability to float across multiple units, including MedSurg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate is confident managing cardiac patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care across MedSurg, Telemetry, and PCU units Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition Care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring, including post-cardiac catheterization cases Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation usingEPIC EMR
system Float to different units as required based on staffing needs Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience , including cardiac care Experience with cardiac patients and post-procedural care (e.g., cardiac caths) Active RN license (Compact State License accepted- Rhode Island) BLS and ACLS certifications (required at submission) Experience with
EPIC EMR
system Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability skillsWork Schedule & Requirements Night Shift:
