Join our dedicated team at Carolina Ambulatory Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art outpatient Ophthalmology Surgery Center committed to delivering exceptional patient care and surgical excellence. About Us At Carolina Ambulatory Surgery Center, we specialize in advanced ophthalmic procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma and corneal procedures. Our expert surgeons and staff are committed to providing high-quality, personalized care in a safe and comfortable environment. Position Overview As a Registered Nurse in our Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. You'll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, and the clinical team to ensure each patient receives top-tier care throughout their surgical journey. Key Responsibilities Conduct pre-op assessments and prepare patients for surgery Monitor patients during procedures and assist with sedation as needed Provide post-operative care, discharge education, and follow-up instructions Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in surgical nursing Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Qualifications Current RN license in South Carolina BLS, ACLS and PALS certification preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why Join Us?
