Responsibilities:
To coordinate the admission process for the Veteran and the facility to include Pre-Admission packets, evaluation visits of referrals, preparation of waiting list and notification of admissions to the facility. This nurse must be willing and capable of representing the facility throughout the community to make all aware of the facility for Veterans to the general public. Also, to provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of the day to day nursing activities in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility on a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis throughout the facility as needed
Key Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. Must possess a valid driver's license (for current state) in good standing with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
