Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting surgical excellence as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Your clinical expertise and commitment to patient safety will play a critical part in perioperative care, assisting surgical teams and ensuring optimal outcomes every day.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Operating Room nursing Proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to remain calm and focused in high-acuity settings Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all required instruments and equipment are sterile and available Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists during procedures Monitor patient status and vitals throughout surgical interventions Manage and facilitate patient positioning, prepping, and transport within perioperative areas Adhere strictly to infection control and safety guidelines Maintain accurate, timely documentation of intraoperative events and patient information Assist with post-operative recovery and patient handoff communications for continuity of care
