13 Weeks Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong trauma and telemetry experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced progressive care environment caring for post-surgical trauma patients. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adult progressive care and trauma patients Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and post-surgical care Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Respond promptly to changes in patient condition Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent PCU RN experience required First-time travelers must have at least 2 years of experience Active RN license required

Required Certifications:

AHA BLS AHA ACLS NIHSS

Telemetry competency Medication test required Strong trauma and post-surgical patient care experience preferred Schedule & Additional Information Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts Guaranteed 36 hours per week Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule No block scheduling available Patient Population & Clinical Experience This unit primarily cares for adult trauma and surgical patients requiring progressive care and telemetry monitoring.

Common patient populations include:

Motor vehicle accident trauma Falls Assault-related injuries Penetrating trauma and gunshot wounds Post-surgical trauma recovery patients Facility Support Services Strong interdisciplinary support available including: IV Team Respiratory Therapy Physical Therapy Rapid Response Team Pharmacy Radiology Social Services Phlebotomy Transportation Services For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807
