Schedule/Hours:

Travel assignment; full-time schedule and rotating call shifts as assigned

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid RN license, eligible for practice in SC At least 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting preferred Strong computer skills, including electronic medical records and patient care applications Effective communication and interpersonal skills Adaptability in urgent and emergent clinical situations Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Responsibilities:

Consistently maintain professionalism and excellent customer service, building positive relationships with patients, families, visitors, and fellow staff Assess patient needs based on comprehensive data collection and analysis Oversee, delegate, and evaluate the performance of support staff, ensuring safe and immediate interventions when needed Deliver nursing interventions aligned with care plans and physician directives Complete and verify the Safe Surgery checklist in line with service excellence standards Accurately and thoroughly document all aspects of patient care in the appropriate systems and formats Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring availability and proper function of supplies and health/safety equipment Position and ready patients for procedures and serve as a key communication link between families and the surgical team Participate cooperatively in call rotations as scheduled Support departmental efficiency and contribute to quality improvement efforts Pursue continuous professional growth through education and goal-setting
