DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about mentoring and developing fellow nurses? Apply to become a Nurse Preceptor for HMR! •Internal Applicants Only•Position Overview The RN Preceptor provides hands-on training and mentorship to new Charge Nurses, CMAs, and CNAs in a skilled nursing setting. This role supports clinical excellence and helps uphold HMR Veterans Services' high standards of resident care while fostering a positive learning environment. This position is open to current HMR employees only. Key Responsibilities Mentor and educate new nurses, CMAs, and CNAs in clinical settings. Demonstrate and reinforce nursing procedures, policies, and best practices. Assess and provide feedback on performance and skill development. Support a positive learning environment that fosters professional growth. Ensure adherence to patient care standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance training programs. Qualifications Active RN license in this state and relevant clinical experience. Demonstrated communication, leadership, and teaching skills. Ability to assess and adapt to individual learning needs. Commitment to continuous professional development.
