Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to determine individual care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Manage complex medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, suturing, and ventilator management with precision. Coordinate care plans through case management strategies, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to ensure compliance with HIPAA standards. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and interpret diagnostic imaging results like sonography or mammography when applicable. Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, or pediatrics based on your expertise. Qualifications Valid RN license in good standing with the appropriate licensing board. Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or emergency room settings preferred; hospital experience highly valued. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation. Demonstrated proficiency in procedures such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, tube feeding management, and airway management. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care or dementia support. Excellent communication skills coupled with critical thinking abilities; experience in triage or urgent care settings is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices and adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety. Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through expert nursing care! $41.73 - $50.25 per hour
