1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and a minimum of 1-2 years of OR experience. Details Operating Room (OR) setting within a hospital environment Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts) Late stays required 1-2 days per week to complete any cases not finished by 3:30 PM No on-call requirements Daily patient load of 5-7 cases No floating outside the OR Epic EMR experience preferred but not required 13-week contract Requirements Active SC or Compact RN license required (pending license considered if obtained prior to start) Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum of 1 year of OR RN experience required; 2 years preferred Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after the initial submission will not be considered The facility has an attendance policy: missing more than two shifts during the 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation Orientation includes pass/fail testing on the first day: Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test (required for all units) and Moderate Sedation Test (required for OR); candidates have one attempt to pass each test Block scheduling is not available for this position
