PRN What are we looking for? NHUC Corporate Health and Wellness is currently looking for a registered nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN primarily supports the department by providing health education/wellness program implementation. The RN also supports the department with other on-site corporate health and wellness events. During on-site events, the RN prepares the patient for visit, shows patient to treatment area, takes vital signs, performs blood draws, administers vaccines, and completes other clinical tasks as required. The RN will also complete administrative tasks to support the department as needed. Do you have what it takes? A good candidate will bring with them: High school diploma or equivalent and an Associate degree in Nursing (AND) or Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse and licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in South Carolina Active BLS or ACLS Ability to travel within the upstate region of South Carolina Willingness to work a variable schedule with early hours on occasion Experience with obtaining patient vitals, phlebotomy, and vaccine administration General knowledge of medical terminology, ethics and confidentiality Competence with Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and healthcare technology Ability to work independently and efficiently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Resilience and flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities An ideal candidate would also have: Experience in providing health and wellness education Ability to travel throughout the state of South Carolina and complete overnight stays on occasion powered by
