Registered Nurse, RN - Part-time - 7pm-7am

Golden Age-Inman is seeking passionate Registered Nurses that truly love what they do and care for our residents. We are looking for candidates that are friendly, fun, compassionate and most of all good listeners and team player . Part-time - 7pm-7am

Job Summary:

• Provides routine and repetitive patient care. Maintains standards of nursing care, in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Nursing Department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provides plan care for all resident attending to such as Medication Administration, Wound Care, ADL Care, etc...
• Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit.
• Must document changes and follow up on condition.
• Organizes, cleans and maintains the patient/resident units.
• Ensures that resident's/patient's rights are adhered to.

Education:

• Graduate of Nursing

Experience:

• Minimum of Six months to 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse working in a nursing home and/or hospital environment preferred but not required.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current S.C. Nursing License

Abilities Required:

• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with geriatric patients, residents, family members, employees and other facility guests.
• Demonstrates a caring attitude toward patients, residents, family members, employees and other facility guests.
• Ability to document information concisely and accurately
• Ability to think and act calmly to handle the unusual occurrences of the job.

Organizational Expectations:

• Ensures that resident's/patient's rights are adhered to, and confidentiality and security of patients' medical information
• Demonstrates professionalism and accountability, and excellent communication skills
• Adheres to the organization's Mission, Vision and Values
• Participates in departmental activities, meetings and in-services and follows established guidelines
• Maintains a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Must pass a Background Screening and Drug Test
