Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Step into a vital role as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, where your expertise ensures the highest level of patient care during surgical procedures. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on delivering quality healthcare.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN license in good standing Previous experience as an Operating Room Nurse required Proficiency in surgical procedures, patient assessment, and perioperative care BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and work well under pressure Excellent communication skills for coordinating with surgical teams and supporting patients
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surgical suites and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists before, during, and after procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and respond swiftly to any complications Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols Provide patient support and education regarding pre- and post-operative care Accurately document procedures, patient responses, and medication administration Ensure timely and precise communication with multidisciplinary teams
