Job Description

Seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Outpatient and inpatient role Standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm) Protected administrative time (8+ hours per week)
Call Schedule:
Shared call schedule, approximately 1:4 rotation for patient care needs through telephone calls also supported by after-hours nurse triage.
Support Staff:
The physician will have access to a dedicated nurse, APPs, and a specialized oncology nursing team 4 Physicians and 3 APPs currently
Cerner EMR Average Patient Volume:
15-20 patients per day
Patient Census:
Primarily adult patients with a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders, from early-stage to advanced.
Demographics:
A mix of rural and suburban patients, many with complex care needs. 40% Oncology and 60% Hematology Visit types: Initial cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, chemotherapy follow-ups, and management of hematologic conditions like anemia and clotting disorders.
Procedures:
Bone marrow biopsies, port insertions, chemotherapy administration, and oversight of clinical trials.
Sign-on Bonus:
$50k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition.
Clinic/Facility:
10-chair infusion center, onsite lab and pharmacy, two additional infusion centers on campus (1 general/1 rheumatology)
Imaging/Diagnostics:
PET scanning, 64-slice CT, 3-D mammography, breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy
Tumor Boards:
Bi-weekly for breast,
PCC, GI, and ENT Competitive Compensation:
Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses -
Base Compensation:
700k+ (flexible/negotiable) +
