Desired Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis, circulating, and scrubbing Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergent situations Excellent communication and documentation skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare surgical suite and ensure all equipment, supplies, and instruments are ready and sterile Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care Serve as circulator and/or scrub nurse during operative procedures Monitor patient vital signs and status throughout procedures, anticipating needs and complications Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all interventions and observations Provide thorough preoperative and postoperative assessments and instructions for patients Uphold infection control protocols and participate in safety checks The contract offers exposure to advanced surgical cases and allows you to expand your clinical skills in a collaborative setting.
