Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Part-Time/PRN dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
  • Infusion to join our healthcare team in the Myrtle Beach SC area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with a focus on infusion therapy, providing high-quality patient care. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently with avaliability Monday-Friday. Duties
  • Administer intravenous medications and therapies to patients as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during infusion therapy, providing immediate intervention as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient care, including infusion details and patient responses.
  • Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, medication management, and potential side effects.
  • Communicate with intake team regarding supplies needed and scheduling of patients to ensure drugs and supplies are delivered in a timely manner. Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Experience in medical-surgical nursing or critical care preferred.
  • Experience starting peripheral IVs and accessing implanted ports.
  • Knowledge of medical documentation standards and practices.
  • Previous travel nursing or in home experience is desirable but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
