Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role providing high-quality care in a leading cardiovascular operating room environment. This specialized opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses passionate about perioperative nursing, perioperative cardiovascular procedures, and making a positive difference for surgical patients. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced surgical team, you'll utilize your CVOR expertise to ensure safe, effective care throughout all phases of surgery.
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Recent experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing Strong knowledge of sterile technique and operating room protocols BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to thrive in high-pressure, collaborative environments
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery, supporting preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes, ensuring safety and optimal surgical outcomes Communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to coordinate patient care Prepare surgical suites and equipment, maintaining strict infection control standards Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
