Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a vital nursing role, providing expert care in a dynamic operating room environment. As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room, you'll support surgical teams and ensure patient safety with skill and composure. Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN license Previous experience working as an OR nurse Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain) Proficient with surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile technique Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures Assist with preparation of the operating room, ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are sterile and ready Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout procedures Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines Document care accurately and promptly in patient records Support post-operative care and patient education
