Job Description

Overview We have clients with PRN needs at Broad Rive CI, Camille CI, Kirkland Infimary, Lee CI, Leiber CI, We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position offers flexible scheduling to meet the fluctuating needs of our diverse patient population, providing essential nursing care across various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient assessment, medical documentation, and a broad range of clinical skills. This role is vital in delivering high-quality, compassionate care while supporting the overall health and well-being of our patients throughout the Midlands of SC. Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation. Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions following established protocols and safety standards. Support patients with activities of daily living and provide specialized care such as wound care, catheterization, and tube feeding. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient information and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain infection control standards and ensure aseptic techniques during procedures. Educate patients and families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge instructions. Support hospice, memory care, or long-term care services as needed to ensure continuity of quality care. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times. Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Valid , LPN or RN license in good standing; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) required. Prior experience in acute care settings such as hospitals, emergency rooms, ICU, or trauma centers preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia. Ability to perform venipuncture, phlebotomy, catheter care, and other invasive procedures competently. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical environments including outpatient clinics, home care, or assisted living facilities. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards.
