Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical settings. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients. The pay is per client assessment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physical examinations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and treatment plans. Participate in emergency response situations and provide critical care as needed. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing. Experience Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following areas: RN or LPN with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience (hospital, nursing home, or home health). Experience with geriatric clients, chronic conditions, or disabilities . Prior work in home health or long-term care is a big plus. Comfort with supervision & training of caregivers (since they'll oversee aides and ensure compliance). Strong communication (explaining care plans to families & staff). Independence (comfortable making judgment calls in the home without a doctor on-site). Leadership (mentoring caregivers, doing supervisory visits). Regulatory knowledge (especially SC state rules for home care agencies).
