Job Description

RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) A respected acute care hospital in South Dakota providing advanced critical care services to a diverse population of high-acuity patients. This opportunity offers experienced ICU nurses the chance to care for complex medical, cardiac, respiratory, and post-operative patients while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary critical care team in a fast-paced environment.

$2,770/week Unit Details Critical Care / Intensive Care Unit 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week 12-Hour Shifts Every Other Weekend and Holiday Requirement High-Acuity Adult Patient Population Patient Population Septic Shock Post-PCI Patients Respiratory Failure Drug Overdose Cases STEMI and NSTEMI Patients Post-Operative Critical Care Patients Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients Monitor and manage hemodynamically unstable patients Administer and titrate critical care drips and medications Manage ventilated patients and advanced airway support Monitor arterial lines and invasive hemodynamic devices Perform ongoing assessments and rapid interventions as patient conditions change Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ensure adherence to evidence-based critical care practices Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 Years of ICU Experience Required Current South Dakota or Compact RN License Required (In Hand at Submission) BLS Certification Required ACLS Certification Required NIHSS Certification Required Experience Managing Ventilators Required Experience with Critical Care Drips Required Experience Monitoring Arterial Lines Required Strong Critical Thinking and Rapid Response Skills Ability to Manage Complex High-Acuity Patients Independently Limited openings available — apply today!
