ABOUT THE ROLE
Looking for a place where no two shifts are the same? Join a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment where your skills truly make an impact. In this role, you'll provide care across acute care, swing bed, and emergency settings working both independently and as part of a supportive, close-knit team. This is a self directed position that requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to stay composed in an emotionally demanding environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota Strong assessment, technical, and documentation skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond effectively to emergencies Patient-centered mindset rooted in restorative care philosophy Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Basic math skills for safe medication administration Professionalism, compassion, and teamwork in every interaction Commitment to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deliver accurate, timely patient documentation Perform comprehensive nursing assessments each shift, including ongoing ER monitoring Collaborate on patient care planning and shift coordination Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently Accurately transcribe and implement provider orders Maintain a safe environment through infection control and best practices Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Supervise, delegate, and support nursing assistants Assist with onboarding and orienting new staff Support staffing needs and maintain strong team communication Uphold established standards of nursing practice

Maintain punctuality, reliability, and professionalism Adhere to dress code and wear identification Complete required education and participate in annual reviews Attend staff meetings and contribute to team communication Support a culture of safety, accountability, and respect Participate in facility-wide initiatives, including emergency preparedness and infection control Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner
