Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license required Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience Current certifications in BLS and ACLS Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Familiarity with monitoring, medication administration, and sterile techniques in cardiac catheterization procedures Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and provide pre- and post-procedural care Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab Monitor vital signs and patient responses, ensuring safety and prompt reporting of abnormalities Administer medications as ordered, documenting care accurately and thoroughly Maintain supplies, equipment, and a sterile environment in compliance with infection control standards Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care instructions, and recovery expectations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab nurses ready to contribute their expertise in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
