Key Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting strongly preferred BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid) Strong assessment, monitoring, and documentation skills Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergent situations Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization Monitor patient status, vital signs, and documentation throughout procedures Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and related tests Administer medications, including conscious sedation, according to protocols Prepare, maintain, and clean equipment and supplies for Cath Lab procedures Educate patients and families pre- and post-procedure, promoting understanding and recovery Adhere to infection control, safety, and facility-specific protocols This contract assignment offers a rewarding environment focused on delivering life-saving care alongside leading healthcare professionals.
