Vermillion Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be in full support of ZoeCare's Pro-Life, faith-based mission. RN will provide high-quality patient care in our new location in downtown Vermillion. Nurse will perform pregnancy testing, pregnancy options counseling, limited obstetric ultrasound, and STD testing/treatment. Duties:

1. Oversees daily medical services in Vermillion office. Reviews patient records at the end of each day. Ensures that medical equipment is properly operated and maintained. 2. Oversees and provides patient care. Reviews patient record to check for center's intake forms, consent forms, and Release of Liability form. Meets with the patient and reviews medical services, patient instructions and the medical procedures. Records patient's medical history, allergies, and vital signs in the record. Places Physician's Order & Exam Report in the record. Provides pregnancy options education and referrals. Arranges and provides patient follow-up. 3. Follows established policies and procedures for handling emergencies. 4. Complies with state and professional continuing education requirements. Annual renewal of CPR certification. 5. Performs special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Experience:

• Two years experience as a Registered Nurse
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
• Valid RN license in the state of South Dakota
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of current nursing practices and regulations
