2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology position requiring a TN or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Medical Surgical Oncology unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating to other units required as needed Travelers do not administer chemotherapy Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only accepted) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Previous charge nurse experience preferred Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Travelers are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities First-time travelers are welcome to apply
