1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience with night shifts and every other weekend availability. Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:7 36-hour work schedule per week Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating to other units required Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside regular patient care duties Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
