This position involves providing direct nursing care to patients, administering infusions and being able to work well in a team environment. Duties and Responsibilities Take vitals Provided direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocol and physician's orders Administer infusions Assess and diagnose problems through patient interaction Educate patients and families about patient care Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient care environment Provide guidance to members of the team Utilizes knowledge of medications, procedures, infection control, and safety precaution Initiate and provide care in emergencies Skills Valid TN license Good knowledge of nursing care methods and protocol Excellent knowledge of emergency care Good interpersonal and communicating skills Having patience and compassion
