1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR experience and an active TN or compact RN license. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center Interventional Radiology unit Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (8:00-16:30) On-call required, with approximately 6-8 call days per 4-week schedule, including one weekend call shift (Friday-Sunday) every 4 weeks Weekend rotation required Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur on a rare basis Cerner EMR experience preferred 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) license — no pending licensure accepted Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience required; 3+ years preferred ADN or higher nursing education accepted for this position Valid driver's license required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are not accepted; at least one completed prior travel assignment is required (candidates with 3+ years of recent experience may be considered) All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO will not be approved if not listed at the time of initial consideration If any certifications are set to expire during the assignment, a renewal plan should be provided Holiday coverage: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work at least 1-2 of those holidays Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler Vaccination status documentation required
