1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position in Tennessee, requiring an active TN or Compact RN license and AHA BLS certification for night shift work. Details Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:7 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30-07:00) 36-hour weekly work commitment Floating is required No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only) Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Med/Surg nursing experience required Additional Information Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area; local candidates are not accepted Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities 13-week contract
