1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience including General, Pediatric General, and Trauma cases. Details Work in the Operating Room of a Level I Trauma Center hospital Patient population includes General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma cases Schedule options: three 12-hour day shifts (6:30am-7:00pm) with every other weekend, or a 7-on/7-off rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts 13-week contract Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only) Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required Experience in General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma required Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their standard patient care responsibilities Local candidates are not accepted for this position
