1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry experience, working night shifts with a 1:7 patient ratio. Details Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:7 Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts) 36-hour weekly work commitment Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Med/Surg with telemetry (MS/Tele) and Med/Surg experience required Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Contract nurses are expected to support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
