  • 7:30 AM | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend |
Floating May Be Required Pay Rate:

$45

Travel Pay:

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse
  • Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Maryville, TN.
Responsibilities Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status. Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols. Perform emergency interventions and assist during trauma, cardiac, and critical care situations. Operate and document medication administration using Omnicell. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EPIC. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control procedures. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Float to other units as needed based on patient care requirements. Required Qualifications Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) License. Minimum 1 Year of Recent Emergency Room (ER) Experience. Minimum 1 Year of EPIC Documentation Experience. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. BLS (Basic Life Support). ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale). CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention). Preferred Qualifications Previous travel nursing experience preferred. Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department setting. Strong adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
