1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position in Tennessee, requiring prior EP Lab experience and a TN or compact RN license. Details Hospital-based Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting within a Cardiology unit Patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices) and EP ablation cases Day shift: 6:45 AM- 3:15 PM Five 8-hour shifts per week Occasional late stays may be required to complete procedures, typically no more than once per pay period Requirements Active RN license — TN or compact license required BLS certification required (AHA-issued only) Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Prior Electrophysiology Lab experience required Experience assisting with cardiac device implants and EP studies/ablation procedures required Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Two professional references required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide pre• intra• and post-procedural nursing care for EP and cardiac device patients Monitor patients throughout electrophysiology studies, ablation procedures, and device implants Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care Maintain procedural documentation and uphold all regulatory and quality standards Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies — local candidates may be subject to a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility 13-week contract
