1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position in Knoxville, TN, requiring BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Details Day shift position, 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting 13-week travel contract Patient ratio of 5:1 Charting performed in Cerner EMR Requirements Active TN or Compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the contract start Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required Cerner EMR experience required Valid driver's license required for consideration No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Travel experience preferred but not required Completion of Advanced Learning Center modules required for all travelers Royal blue scrubs required; white, royal blue, or black t-shirt may be worn under the scrub top Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
