Know Your Team:
BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo's preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity. Responsibilities The Registered Dialysis Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care of patients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric. The RN coordinates, delegates, and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members, and all patient care team members. The RN provides supervision for patient team members in accordance with their level of training and the patient's acuity.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current License to practice as a registered nurse in Texas. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Previous experience providing nursing care to patients on acute dialysis.
