Teamwork:
As a crucial member of our nursing staff, you will work closely with physicians, office staff, and endoscopy technicians to deliver comprehensive care. We rely on open communication and adaptability, encouraging team members to support one another during peak times.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate:
Actively participate in staff meetings and team drills to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Communicate:
Maintain transparent, timely, and respectful communication with all staff members.
Support:
Assist peers across the unit, prioritizing the needs of the team and patient over individual tasks.
Improve:
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and participating in team meetings.
What We Offer:

Requirements:
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
  • At least 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Provide at least 2 days of availability per month
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
  • Assist with medical procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times
Skills:
  • Critical care, emergency care, and telemetry background preferred
  • Preop/PACU experience preferred
  • Basic life support techniques
  • Proficient IV skills
